If you landed on this page, it’s because you have an interest in riding Escape New York on one of our Escorted Rides. 

ENY registrants can choose to ride in a group escorted by experienced NYCC ride leaders.

When you join an escorted ride, you have no worries about getting lost or finding route markers. Just enjoy the ride and the company of your fellow riders. We have escorted rides of 25, 50, 75, and 100 miles with anticipated cruising speeds of 12 to 18 mph.

Once again for 2024:

  • we are using the NYCC web site and ride registration system to confirm you onto your specific escorted ride

  • you will need to become a member of the club in order to select the escorted ride that is right for you

Good news!

You may (or may not) know that as a 2024 ENY Registrant, you are entitled to a FREE 1-year membership in New York Cycle Club provided you are not currently (or previously) a member. NYCC has dozens of group rides each week with varying distance, pace, and terrain, plus weekend trips and free special events. How could you not take advantage of this offer? You can train for the ride with us and benefit from all club activities before and after Escape New York.

Here’s how to join NYCC:

  1. Go to the NYCC free trial membership page

  2. Agree to the liability waiver.

  3. Your 1st year of NYCC membership is free! Payment method is only requested because your membership renews in 1 year at our ridiculously low membership rate (currently $30/year). You will be notified before you are billed. 

  4. You can easily cancel your membership at any time. Instructions for canceling your NYCC membership are here.
