Roll-It-Local: Support your local bike shops

When you call out “mechanical”, it can sometimes be critical to have real-time access to a qualified, quality mechanic.

It’s often tempting and convenient to buy things cheap on Amazon.

We encourage you to RESIST that temptation and always support your local bike shop - so that you have a mechanic at the ready when you need them, not to mention good advice when considering your next bike or appropriate accessories.

To that end, New York Cycle Club has launched this program for bike shops that support Escape New York, its riders and our club members.

If you don’t see your favorite shop listed below - please encourage their owner to reach out to enyridedirector@nycc.org for inclusion.

Each of these shops will have a unique code.

That code will give you a discount on the price of the ride, and also an incentive when you return to that shop and make a purchase from them. When you use the code below, we will share your name, email address and phone number. They will offer you the following promotional rebates (subject to terms and conditions they will share with you - for example, typically the spend will be time-limited to after the ride through end of February of the following year).

RIDERS: By using one of these codes you authorize us to share your name and email address with the bike shop so they can follow up and remind you of their terms for the promotion. Typically, they will offer a time limited period say October 1st to February 28th of the following year. One time use offer. Terms vary by shop. SHOPS: You will receive a spreadsheet with the name, email address and cell phone number of the rider and can cross the name off once promotion is used. will cross your name of their list once you have taken advantage of the promo. We’ll circle back with you to see how the program is doing.
